Simply visitPages Tuesday, 10 August 2012 Glimmer mania! Hello everyone! So, I have lots of stuff to show you, but first things first, I have something new for you!! Yes, I have created a new card layout for the characters of Fairy Tales! I really like the one that I created, and now I have created another one for Luna Lovegood! The only thing I didn't like about the first card is that the hearts that I created are pretty fiddly (and a little dirty looking in the photos, too) so I spent a while doing that again (not my strongest area) and I think that they turned out rather well. I decided to change the original idea a bit, and try to make the Lovegood cards gender neutral (gender specific cards are probably not the smartest thing to make at this time of day, LOL). I also changed the colours to be a little more 'happy'. So, I shall enter the Fairy Tales into the Creation Challenge over at The Fairytale Social in a few days time, and see how I get on. Having said that, I shall let you see some of my new working creations! Soooooo, this is the first card that I've been playing with, I think this one is going to be my favourite. I don't know about you, but I love this colour combo and I find that I just have to draw things that make me happy. I was inspired by the work that I saw from Stamping Bella, and I wanted to make something that looked like a witch's topper, but not really. I think that I might just be looking back at the old cards for the Wiccan when I do them, because I am certainly not copying a design from the new, nor the old. Anyway, I made this one for my friend Michelle's birthday, and you can see it here... Mentioning the words names, Michelle is a huge fan of Shakespeare, and this was inspired by the popular, and much loved Queen, "Romeo & Juliet." Well, that's it! I shall leave you with a photo of three of my creations ready for working, and this.... .... is my Chinese Fireball. The Leafs own the Leafs, and the Leafs own the Leafs. First, the Leafs are owned by MLSE, the MLSE being the Toronto Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment. Last year, MLSE received $284 million in taxpayer money from the Ontario government for a new downtown sports stadium, Rogers Centre. Last week, it was revealed that MLSE was sitting on $35 million in cash. It seems as though MLSE needs the money, as it already had to take a $20-million hit to repair a dome-collapse. MLSE is not the sole owner of the Toronto Maple Leafs. In fact, the Leafs are a part of a larger group of teams and businesses that makes up the Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment Group. It's more than the Leafs. The group, headed by Brendan Shanahan, owns the Toronto Raptors, Toronto FC, the Marlies (the minor-league Toronto Marlies) and (most notably) the Toronto Argonauts, a professional football team. Arguably the most successful Toronto franchise of the past few years has been the Argonauts. The Argos have won the Grey Cup twice in the past decade, and currently the team is trying to break a CFL record for winning a third consecutive championship. It did so, in 2011, by winning the 105th Grey Cup (number 93 in Ontario) behind quarterback Ricky Ray. But because MLSE owns the Argos, it's not all a dream (sorry, Leafs fans). The Argos are owned by MLSE, which is directly owned by MLSE. It's like the Italian economy. Erik Karlsson of the Toronto Maple Leafs defeated Calgary Flames and star goalie Devan Dubnyk, proving that the Leafs take so-called star players as well as any team in the league. The Argos have major-league talent, including quarterback Ricky Ray, running back Jon Cornish, linebacker Richie Hall What's New In? Sudoku is a logic-based puzzle made up of 81 cells in a 9x9 grid.
